2020 FITGov Summit

D.C. Metro Area Washington, DC

May 13-14, 2020
Georgetown Marriott Hotel, DC Downtown Hotel

The Federal Information Technology (FIT) Gov Summit (formerly the CPIC Conference) is the intersection where strategy, modernization, solutions architecture and planning meet implementation and execution, FITGovSummit is appropriate for skill levels ranging from Junior to Expert / Executive.

Unlike some industry training events that are filled with product pitches, FITGovSummit is the essence of re-imagining and re-defining learning by fostering public-private partnership at a variety of levels of government. FITGovSummit is education combined with resources and action plans for “next steps” back at the office.

Full Agenda Coming Soon

We’re pairing subject matter experts (SMEs) and attendees for educational reciprocity. Each SME will benefit from executive plenary presentations and the popular CIO Panel.

SMEs will present sessions on a variety of project, program, portfolio and investment management topics – diving into guidance, policy, compliance, governance and capital planning. FITGovSummit will feature high-demand hot topics to include Technology Business Management (TBM), Acquisition Reform (FITARA) implementation, Modernization, Workforce Enrichment, Human Capital Management, Cybersecurity, and more.

  • Those in project/portfolio management will improve their access and knowledge in core areas where the federal government is heavily investing in technology.
  • Those involved in the programming, planning, budgeting, acquisition, procurement and governance of these emerging technologies will gain insights into how to review the justifications for these programs and investments to be funded and prioritized in the President’s Budget Requests and the Congressional Justifications.
  • Those involved with ensuring their IT workforce has the resiliency to be foundationally successful will gain resources and tools to increase your agility and be mission ready

Attendance at FITGovSummit can result in twelve (12) hours of continuing professional educational credits in the form of Continuous Learning Points (CLPs). These credits are compatible with a variety of certifications to include FAC, DAWIA, PMI (with conversion), CPP, and CPP-I Credentials.
